REFLECTIVE WRITING

Reflecting on my time in Mr. Fauzi's class, I've realized how much I've grown as a student. Each project introduced new tools and techniques, pushing me to expand my skills and creativity. One of my favorite projects was the surreal collage. We had the freedom to express ourselves, and I enjoyed experimenting with Photoshop to blend different textures and adjust colors. Seeing my ideas come to life was incredibly rewarding. However, starting was tough. I often felt stuck, unsure of which colors or elements to use. But once I began, ideas started flowing, teaching me that taking the first step is crucial.

Learning After Effects to animate elements was another highlight. Initially, I was intimidated by the software, but Mr. Fauzi's guidance made it approachable. Exploring keyframes and bringing still designs to life was fascinating. While this project wasn't as challenging as others, it opened my eyes to the possibilities of motion graphics, and I'm excited to explore more in the future. The class wasn't without its challenges. Adapting to different software versions on my MacBook led to confusion and extra troubleshooting. Maintaining consistency in my designs, matching colors, aligning elements, and keeping a cohesive style, was also challenging. These experiences taught me to pay closer attention to details and always double-check my work.

Overall, Mr. Fauzi's class has been an incredible learning experience. From creating collages and posters to exploring animation, every project pushed me out of my comfort zone. I've gained confidence in using tools like Photoshop and After Effects and developed a deeper appreciation for the creative process. Most importantly, I've learned that challenges are opportunities to grow, and I'm excited to apply these skills in future projects. This class has truly been one of the most fun parts of my learning journey.
