Then, we chose our topic which was: Patient Transfer Device. This project is about elderly people's problem when moving from a bed to a wheelchair. Most of the time, they rely on family members, nurses, or helpers to do the transfer for them, but current wheelchairs aren’t really designed to help with this. Because of that, transfers can be tiring, unsafe, and frustrating for caregivers.
