OUTFIT
After sculpting our body mesh, we moved on to creating the outfit. Mr.Tuan taught us how to create outfits by using extract, where we had to mask the areas we want the outfit to be. I created my outfit based on my concept layer by layer, and making sure the thickness is not too thick. For the straps on the legs, I used the curve strap snap brush.

Fig 1.2 Final Detailing
Since Mr.Tuan allowed us to improve our anatomy after we submitted the assignment, I improved my anatomy based on the feedback given. I made the hamstrings bigger,
made the back more detruding, made the muscle on near forearm hand connected, fixed the ebow, made the abs area longer, changed the ribs to make it more realistic, and fixed how the muscles are connecting to each other so its more natural.
I also added textures on the skin and face, and made holes using standard brush to follow my concept.

POLYPAINT
After teaching us how polypaint works, I start off with coloring the whole body with a green color. Next, I shade the dark areas such as armpits, low areas, etc using a darker green shade. I also incorprate a dark purple on the feet, antenas, and leg that transition to the body.
Although this color isn't the same as my concept, I figured it would be better as I thought the original color from my concept was too dark.
Fig 1.4 Skin Coloring
For the shell, I went with a brown mixed with purple color. First, I colored the whole thing with a dark brown color, and added purple and light brown hues on top. Im happy with how it turned out because its the exact color I imagined in my head, and it fits well with the rest of the skin color.

Finally, for the clothing, I colored the pants with a green/brown color with minimal shading. I wanted to make the clothing harmonize with the skin color so I made the color similar to the skin color while still keeping them recognizable.
POSING
For the first few attempts, I used transpose master as I wanted to have more control over the bones. I went with a pose where the character is slouching over, while in the middle of walking, as if he's being cautious in his surrounding in the forest. However, after multiple attempts, using transpose master did not work and Mr.Tuan recommended me to use masking instead.
REFLECTION
Through this assignment, I learned a lot of things such as making clothes using the extract tool, coloring, and posing in zbrush. There were a lot of difficulties that I faced when doing this project especially during posing. I first attempted to use masking method which failed, so I tried transpose master method which failed and had to re do the rigging 3 times, and finally my pose worked when I tried masking for the second time, but everytime I press ProxyPose, zbrush lagged and would not work. Failures like these in my opinion though is very understandable because as a beginner there would be more trial and error than immidietly succeeding, which is important for learning. Because of these mistakes, I know what to do next time and not waste my time anymore. Throughout this whole module, I feel like I could have done better because to be honest this module was my second priority. In the future, I hope to balance out my work more and further improve my anatomy and sculpture skills.
