REFLECTION
Doing this module has been really tough, but I learned a lot of things, and it surprised me how much you can learn in a span of just three months. From typographic systems to creating my own wordmark and identity, I finally got the answer to my question: “How do people make their brand on a product look so realistic?” I learned how to make mockups and eventually created an entire font, along with symbols and numbers, all by myself. Through this assignment, I also learned how to manage my time. I feel like if I hadn’t set priorities or managed my time well, I wouldn’t have made it, haha. I was always at home, going out only twice a month because I had so many assignments and things to do. It was doable if I had gone out like my friends, but I prefer to suffer first and have fun later, hehe. Anyway, this semester also went by really fast—it feels like just a minute ago I was going to my first class in April. Mr. Vinod has been really helpful throughout my journey here, teaching me and giving me genuinely useful feedback that I could apply to my work. He has taught me how to take criticism and showed me that feedback—though sometimes harsh—is always a good thing, because no matter what, after receiving it, I get all the advantages: improving my work and becoming better.
